Dr. Heather James

Even as a young girl growing up on a dairy farm near Athens, Dr. Kristy J. Langhoff knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian one day. It was this early exposure to many animals and especially their care that was so interesting and rewarding to Dr. Langhoff. She received her bachelor’s degree from UW Oshkosh, and then obtained her doctorate from the UW Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Langhoff worked in Chippewa Falls practicing mixed animal medicine and surgery for 6½ years before moving to Marshfield to concentrate on solely small animals. In 2018 she became co-owner of Castlerock Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Langhoff lives with her husband, son, daughter, and one cat. They enjoy watching and playing a variety of sports, being outdoors, reading, and visiting with other family and friends.
