Shayla joined the Castlerock team in 2022. She earned her Associate Degree in Veterinary Science from Northcentral Technical College in 2016 and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2018. Her favorite areas of the veterinary field so far are anesthesia, dentistry, and ultrasonography. She tries to make every patient’s visit as calm and positive as possible while supporting their caregivers with education and compassion. Outside of work, Shayla enjoys hiking, gardening, music, road trips, and spending time with her favorite people. Shayla loves all animals but is especially attached to her two dogs (Bo Peep and Ramona), three cats (Scruffy, Lu, and Tiptoe), and three goldfish (Banana, Pam, and Moe).
